Plot Summary:

For centuries, the Isdal and Roth families have been locked in a bitter feud, their hatred a seemingly endless inheritance. Protagonist

The protagonist is the character the player controls. Born into the renowned and influential Isdal family, she's always felt like an outsider. While her relatives possess extraordinary supernatural talents—like superhuman speed or strength—she was born without any of these gifts. This has made her something of a black sheep within her own family.

However she possesses a hidden ability that sets her apart: the power to glimpse memories by touch. While it provides critical clues, it leaves her vulnerable, physically weakening her after use. This power, known only to her late brother, becomes her key to uncovering the Circle of Silence’s machinations.

 

A member of the rival Roth family, Nevan is mysterious, cunning, and surprisingly introspective. Though raised to despise the Isdals, Nevan harbors doubts about the feud and is deeply suspicious of the Circle of Silence’s growing influence over his family.

Nevan and the Protagonist’s shared desire to unravel the Circle of Silence’s secrets forces them into an uneasy alliance. As the protagonist peels away Nevan's layers, she discovers a man capable of great loyalty and love.

Charismatic, intelligent, and guarded, Nevan hides his vulnerability behind a mask of wit and composure.

 

Callahan Isdal is the stern and imposing head of the Isdal family, a rigid guardian of their traditions. He's a man defined by a strong sense of duty, utterly devoted to upholding the Isdal legacy. Beneath his cold and unyielding exterior lies a deep-seated fear of change. He views the long-standing feud with the Roths not as a senseless conflict, but as a sacred obligation, a burden passed down through generations. Callahan is quick to anger, especially when his authority is challenged, and his inflexible worldview often clashes with the protagonist's more open-minded perspective.

Callahan's primary motivation is to protect what he perceives as the Isdal family's honor. In his mind, any talk of peace is a sign of weakness, a betrayal of their heritage. He fears that the protagonist's determined quest for the truth will unravel centuries of carefully maintained control and disrupt the established order he so desperately clings to.

Edmund Isdal, the protagonist's father, is a reserved and pragmatic man whose primary concern is the survival and stability of the Isdal family. He's calculating and strategic, often approaching the family feud with a detached, almost clinical perspective. While he undoubtedly loves his children, he struggles to express his emotions openly, often appearing distant. He frequently views the protagonist's actions as impulsive and reckless, worrying about the potential consequences for the family. Although he outwardly supports Callahan's decisions and adheres to tradition, there are fleeting moments where his resolve falters, hinting at an internal conflict between his loyalty to the established order and his deep love for his children.

The protagonist’s cunning cousin. Haugen is charming, manipulative, and ambitious.

 

A physician with a mysterious air, he becomes an unexpected ally in the protagonist’s journey. Dr. Faulkner is a deeply analytical and curious man. His demeanor is calm and collected, but his probing questions and sharp insights often unsettle those around him.

 

A mysterious woman with ties to both Cian’s past and the Circle of Silence. Her allegiances and motivations are an enigma.
